A Quality Assurance (QA) Automation Engineer position in Mount Laurel, New Jersey is available with a leading Cybersecurity Solution provider courtesy of NetQuest Corporation. You will work with our Engineering and Product Management teams developing a high-performance deep packet processing and streaming analytics platform for the cybersecurity market, where each person’s challenge and contributions have real impact.
Focus on QA automation within Agile team:
- Work within Agile team including product managers and engineers to understand product requirements, create and execute test plans.
- Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts within SDLC/STLC methodologies to validate network security appliance performance, functionality, and security features.
- Build and enhance automation frameworks and scripts to improve test coverage, reduce test execution time, and ensure reliability.
- Set up, configure, and maintain test environments, including network configurations, virtual machines, and physical devices.
- Conduct regular regression testing, identify and track defects, and assist in troubleshooting issues.
- Collaborate with engineering team to integrate automated tests into DevOps CI/CD pipeline using tools like GitHub, Jenkins, etc.
- Generate test reports and communicate test results with stakeholders.
- Stay abreast of new testing tools and frameworks to improve test automation.
Qualifications:
- 10+ years of experience in QA testing, with a focus on test automation for network applications or embedded systems.
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, or related field.
- Proficiency in at least one programming/scripting language, such as Python, and working with Linux/Bash Shell.
- Experience with automation frameworks, such as Robot Framework, Pytest, Ansible, Selenium, and familiarity with CI/CD tools, such as Jenkins
- Solid understanding of networking protocols, such as TCP/IP, HTTP/S, SSL
- Experience with network test tools, such as traffic generation tools, Wireshark
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to create tests and test plans and record results in test management tools, such Xray, TestRail, TestLink
- Some familiarity with virtualization platforms, such as VMware, and Container platforms, such as Docker.
